Key West

Key West is a part of the Florida Keys archipelago. As the southernmost point of Florida, it is situated in the Straits of Florida and sits in between Florida and Cuba. Key West now has a population of around 25,200 people and has been called home by the indigenous Calusa people, the Spanish, the British, and ultimately the United States of America.

Getting around Key West is super easy! You can walk from the North side of the Island to the South in under an hour, and there are bus routes that go all around as well, including to the airport. There is also a shuttle that runs from Key West out to Marathon in case you’d like to further explore the Florida Keys. You might even want to rent a bike, get the wind flowing through your hair, and enjoy the freedom of cruising along the coastline. Of course, there are also ride-sharing services, taxis, and car rentals available if you need them.
